"She's good.  She's tough as nails," Tatum, 33, told "Good Morning America" last month. "Those first few weeks are hard and she's just swimming through them."

"The mom does so much of the early work those first few weeks and I'm just like, 'Put me in the game. Put me in the game,'" he added. "I've gotten so good at like changing diapers, swaddling and then get it back before she cries."

The new parents, who were married in 2009, gave interviews before their daughter's birth, made it clear that their new family was their priority.

"Most actors and actresses are consumed by careers and getting ahead," Dewan-Tatum said. "Channing and I are ambitious, but our relationship comes first. We take everything day by day, saying, 'Okay, how can we make this work together?'"
