Jennifer Aniston Calls Herself 'No. 1 Snubbed'
The "Cake" star didn't receive an Oscar nomination.
-- After Oscar nominations were announced last week, there was a lot of chatter about snubs and surprises.
Many were confused as to how Jennifer Aniston, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her movie "Cake," was left off the list of Oscar nods.
"I'm the No. 1 snubbed!" she joked to Ellen DeGeneres during a visit to the comedian's talk show. "That's the silver lining, right?"
In addition to Aniston's perceived snub, many wondered why "Selma"'s David Oyelowo didn't nab a best actor nod, and how the Academy could have neglected to recognize the film's director Ava DuVernay. Critics were also confused as to how "The Lego Movie" failed to receive a best animated feature and why Angelina Jolie wasn't honored for her work directing "Unbroken."
However, Aniston is just glad that "Cake," which has yet to be released, has already attracted so much attention.
"That's the crazy thing!" she said. "We're so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love at all."
