Jennifer Lawrence to Direct Her First Movie

— -- Jennifer Lawrence has real plans to move behind the camera and just announced she's set to "direct a comedy."
“I have wanted to direct as long as I’ve wanted to act. I just don’t talk about it because I’d rather just do it," she told Entertainment Weekly.
The "Hunger Games" star, 25, says she has already signed on to direct something called "Project Delirium."
"It’s based on this article about mental warfare in the ’60s, like an acid experiment gone terribly wrong," she added. "I’ve wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that. If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn’t have been ready. Now I actually feel ready.”
As for acting, Lawrence just said goodbye to her "Hunger Games" character Katniss Everdeen and recently spoke to "Good Morning America" about growing into the role over the past few years and four movies.
"At the beginning, when I was younger, I was so frustrated with her reluctance," she said. "I was like, I want her to be this hero, I want her to take this leadership, and it wasn't until I got older that I was like, no, that is a true warrior and a true hero who knows the consequences of war and knows the consequences of taking action and knows the sacrifices that come with change."
