Jennifer Lawrence Says She Wants to Match Amy Schumer at Golden Globes
The actress said she's on a "mission" to find similar dresses for red carpet.
-- You may be doing a double take on the red carpet when the Golden Globe Awards show airs early next year. Jennifer Lawrence wants to wear matching gowns with her friend, Amy Schumer.
"We're going to try to figure out to wear the exact same thing," she told E! News. "That's my mission. I really want us to wear the same thing."
And no, she's not kidding.
Lawrence and Schumer have become really close friends over the past few months. The two are even writing a script together, in which the two play sisters. The film is set to start production in February 2017.
As for the Globes, Lawrence knows that whatever the two wear, the designer has to be Dior as she's a celebrity spokesperson.
"I'm just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they're making for me," she added.
The two actresses are going head to head at the Jan. 10 awards ceremony in the "Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy" category. While Lawrence was nominated for her titular role in the upcoming film "Joy," Schumer was nominated for her film, "Trainwreck."
