'Jeopardy!' Champ Ken Jennings' Winning Streak Ended 10 Years Ago Today

He won fortune and fame with his 74-game winning streak.

Jennings set the record for the most consecutive games played while winning 74 games in a row. The streak netted him winnings of more than $2.5 million.

Despite the record streak, Jennings doesn't hold the record for highest amount won by a single "Jeopardy!" player. That record belongs to Brad Rutter, who won $3,455,102.
