How Jessa Duggar Is Coping After Josh Duggar Scandals

— -- In the wake of two scandals surrounding her older brother Josh Duggar, Jessa Duggar says she is coping by putting her trust in her faith.
"You just have to keep your focus and trust God," Jessa told People magazine Saturday, while promoting the "Growing Up Duggar" book in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her husband, Ben Seewald, added in a Q&A session, "You have to stay true to yourself and your foundation."
Jessa Duggar, 22, and Seewald, 20, are expecting their first baby on Nov. 1, which is also their one-year anniversary.
Josh Duggar recently admitted to cheating on his wife when his subscription to the Ashley Madison website, which caters to people seeking extramarital affairs, was leaked.
"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever," he said in a statement acknowledging he had joined the site. "While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."
Josh has since "checked himself into a long-term treatment center," according to a post on the Duggar family website.
Josh, who has four children with wife Anna, has also been in the news in recent months for actions that happened 12 years ago. According to police reports that surfaced years later, Duggar allegedly inappropriately touched minor girls, including his younger sisters Jessa and Jill. He later apologized for his "inexcusable" actions.
"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends," Josh Duggar wrote on Facebook in May.
