Jimmy Kimmel Expecting a Baby With Wife Molly McNearney
"I'm going to be one of those old dads," the 46-year-old host said.
Feb. 25, 2014 -- Jimmy Kimmel is going to be a dad for the third time.
The late-night TV talk show host broke the news on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which airs Wednesday.
"I'm having a baby with Ellen," he joked.
DeGeneres interjected and confirmed that in fact Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney, 35, are expecting for the first time. The pair married last July. He has daughter Katie and a son Kevin from a previous relationship.
"I have two kids already, I don't know where they are but I hear they are doing great," he said. "I have a 20-year-old son and a 22-year-old daughter and I've forgotten everything ... I told my daughter there's only so much love I have to give and you're going to have to split it up with the new kid."
Kimmel, 46, also talked about having a baby at his age.

"I'm going to be one of those old dads," he said.
There's a little bit of turmoil in the Kimmel household over whether they will find out the sex of the baby before it's born.
"I would like it to be a surprise and my wife, Molly, was happy with that idea until about a week ago she started saying we really need to find out," he added. "But I don't think it matters. I don't think you need to make the baby's room blue or pink."
As for the baby's name, Kimmel couldn't help himself when he said he liked "the name Karate."
"I think Karate Kimmel has a great ring to it and I like the Kardashians things with the two K's, I think that's nice," he said. "Depending on the sex of the baby, Karate or Riddler are the names we are thinking of right now."
