Joe Jackson Doing 'Extremely Well' After 'Mini-Stroke,' Son Says
Jermaine Jackson tweeted that his father was recovering in Brazil
-- Jackson family patriarch Joe Jackson was doing "extremely well" after suffering a stroke, his son, Jermaine tweeted Monday evening.
Jackson suffered a stroke while visiting Brazil and was hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat on Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
Jermaine Jackson said that scans of his father's brain indicated that the damage was "not as bad as feared," he wrote on his verified account.

Joe Jackson had been in the country for his 87th birthday celebration and was set to leave Brazil on Tuesday, the AP said.
He had been hospitalized in intensive care, the hospital said, according to the AP.
