John Cena to Have Shoulder Surgery Ahead of WrestleMania 32
Can he make it back for the big event?
-- WWE star John Cena just suffered a major setback, which could force him to miss the biggest wrestling event of the year. He tweeted last night that he'll need shoulder surgery today.
"Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life's full of set backs but #nevergiveup," he wrote.
The WWE immediately tweeted "Get Well" but will Cena recover in time to compete in WrestleMania 32 on April 3? A representative for WWE said the timetable for his return is to be determined.
WrestleMania is the World Series of Pro Wrestling and Cena is one of the biggest WWE stars. This year's event is scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas.
Cena, 38, has been featured or starred in WrestleMania for the past decade. He had just come back to the sport last month.
