Josh Brolin Has More Than a Hand in Wedding Planning
Actor is in the midst of planning his wedding to fiancee Kathryn Boyd.
— -- Josh Brolin isn't one of those grooms content to let his bride handle all the wedding planning.
"I'm the guy who has to force himself to back off," Brolin revealed to E! News while promoting his new film, "Everest."
"I'm such a control freak and I want to control everything," the 47-year-old actor explained about his upcoming wedding to fiancee Kathryn Boyd. "It's not even that I want to control it; I just want to be in the middle of it. I want to be in the nucleus of it because that's the fun part. That's the nectar."
Asked for any specific details from the big day, Brolin replied, "It's not that I'm going for anything in particular. I just want to be in the soup."
He added, "We're still in the midst of figuring out the best time and all that stuff, but it's very exciting,"
The "Labor Day" star was first photographed getting cozy with his new lady love in February in Rome, according to People magazine. His rep confirmed in May that Brolin and Boyd were engaged.
This will be the third marriage for Brolin, who was previously married to actress Diane Lane.
