Justin Timberlake Joined by *NSYNC on Stage at VMAs, Performs 'Bye Bye Bye'
*NSYNC rocked the VMAs as Timberlake was given the Vanguard Award.
Aug. 25, 2013 -- All the rumors this week about an *NSYNC reunion for the MTV Video Music Awards came true tonight as the fabulous five just killed it at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The former boy band kings didn't disappoint as Justin Timberlake received his Michael Jackson Vanguard Award.
Timberlake, 32, was introduced by friend and collaborator Jimmy Fallon, then worked his way from backstage to the main stage, singing a handful of his classic jams like "Cry Me a River."
Then, just as expected, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick joined him onstage for a quick verse of "Bye Bye Bye."

They pop-and-locked together for a minute while Taylor Swift was seen in the audience absolutely jamming out and Rihanna started singing to herself.
Then JT finished up by singing "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors."
"In the two decades he's been entertaining us, he's become a legend," Fallon said, giving Timberlake his award. "I'm talking *NSYNC ... I'm talking solo albums. I'm talking hit after hit after hit after hit."

As the crowd chanted his name, Timberlake said, "I don't deserve this award but I'm not going to give it back. I'm taking this home."
In humble fashion he also said he owes his former *NSYNC bandmates for a big chunk of his success.
"Half of the Moon Men that I've ever won I won with those four guys right there," he added. "So, above all else, we can keep this at my house but I'm going share this award with them."
