Kaley Cuoco Admits 'I Thought I'd Have a Baby by Now'
The actress split from her husband late last year.
-- Kaley Cuoco admitted she never thought she'd be single again at age 30.
The "Big Bang Theory" actress, who split from her estranged husband last year, said she thought the odds were good that she'd have a family at this point in her career.
"I thought I’d have a baby by now!" she said in a new interview with Cosmopolitan magazine. "You see your life going one way, and then it’s the direct opposite way. I’m waking up going, Oh my God, my life just flipped upside down.”
Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting, 28, married on New Year's Eve 2013 after just a few months of dating. Their impending divorce warped the way she views marriage - a consequence the actress called "sad."
"It does not change the way that I look at love," she continued. "I cannot wait to be in love again. I don’t feel like I am ready yet…which is so different for me. I dive into everything."
And no, she added, she's not dating her costar and ex-boyfriend, Johnny Galecki. These days, they're just "very close" friends, she added.
"The worst part about that is I don’t want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex," she said. "We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, ‘I got you. I get it.’”
