Kanye West Goes on Political Rant During Concert, Says 'I Would Have Voted on Trump'

West interrupted a show in San Jose to praise Trump, say he'll run in 2020.

West dropped the unexpected bombshell in front of thousands of fans at San Jose's SAP Pavilion.

"If I would've voted," West told the audience. "I would have voted on Trump."

The rapper's announcement was met with scattered cheers and boos. Some concert goers can be seen heading for the exits on videos posted to social media.

"I wanted to say that before the election, but they told me, ‘whatever you do, don’t say that out loud,'" West added.

The controversial Grammy winner had more than a few words of praise for the president-elect.

“Not only did I not vote, but there were a lot of things I actually liked about Trump’s campaign," he said. "His approach was f***ing genius -- because it worked."
