Kat Von D: Jesse James' New Woman Looks Familiar

Aug. 19, 2010— -- Jesse James has made no secret about his desire to win back ex-wife Sandra Bullock, but with her recent announcement that they have both moved on with their lives, James has been seen stepping out with a new woman, celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D.

If Von D, whose full name is Katherine Von Drachenberg, looks familiar, it may be because she bears more than a passing resemblance to James' previous women. Covered in tattoos, Von D looks more like James' second ex-wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, and Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, the woman who brought down his marriage to Bullock, than she does to girl-next-door Bullock.

On Wednesday, Von D, 28, the star of reality show "LA Ink," tweeted -- then deleted -- that she was seeing the motorcyle mogul.

"Yes, Jesse and I are dating," she wrote before taking down the post but not before the message had spread throughout the blogosphere.

Later, Von D's rep told People magazine that she and James were "just friends," even though they had been spotted together in Las Vegas, having dinner and holding hands.

According to a People source: "Jesse and Kat drove to Las Vegas together in Jesse's car. It was just the two of them and they slept in the same room. They have been friends for years, but this is the first time they are both single."

Divorced since 2007, Von D recently split from Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx.

Meanwhile, for single mom Bullock, there's only one man in her life -- son Louis. Bullock finalized her adoption of 8-month-old Louis last week in New Orleans.

Though James will soon be moving into a new $2 million home in Austin, Texas, 20 miles away from Bullock, the move appears to be more about continuing his relationship with their three children, Sunny, Jesse Jr. and Chandler, than any ploy to reunite with Bullock.

"I support Jesse in his move to Austin," Bullock told People magazine. "We have both moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other. Anything else that is said on my behalf is inaccurate."

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee

As the world knows by now, McGee, a San Diego tattoo model, is the woman who brought down James' marriage to Bullock.

A fetish model and sometime stripper, McGee told In Touch Weekly that she began an 11-month affair with James while Bullock was filming the "The Blind Side." Raised Amish, she told In Touch that she thought James was separated from Bullock or else she never would have had an affair with him.

Janine Lindemulder

James met and married tattooed porn star Lindemulder, who is also known for her association with punk band Blink 182, in 2002, when the Discovery Channel made him into a star with "Monster Garage."

Their volatile relationship was recorded on the Discovery network special "Motorcycle Mania 3." After a year, they divorced. According to Lindemulder's attorney, James left her when she was seven months pregnant with their daughter Sunny.

While Lindemulder served time in federal prison for tax evasion, James and Bullock took care of Sunny. Recently, James won a bitter custody battle with Lindemulder, awarding him physical custody of their eight-year-old daughter and clearing the way for him to move to Austin.
