Jan. 21, 2014 -- Ke$ha may be in rehab for an eating disorder, but the pop singer's friend took it upon herself to check in with her fans through Ke$ha's official Twitter account.
"This is Kesha's friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn't have access to Twitter right now," she wrote.
According to the friend, Ke$ha wanted to tell her fans "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever."
She added, "She can't believe Timber is still number one! '... PARTY ON!!!!'"

On Jan. 3, Ke$ha, 26, released a statement on why she would be going to rehab for 30 days.
"I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in her statement, adding that she hopes she will "learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."
Her mother, Pebe Sebert, also checked in to rehab one week later for "post-traumatic stress disorder, at Kesha's urging."
Ke$ha's mom recently told People magazine that she feared for her daughter's life.

She said she "watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died. ... The doctors told me her blood pressure and sodium levels were so low, they'd never seen it that low except with someone who'd had a heart attack or stroke. They said it was a miracle she hadn't already dropped dead on stage."
