Famous Sisters: Best Friends or Rivals?
Kate Moss' little sister Lottie is the new "It Girl."
Aug. 23, 2011 -- intro: Conventional wisdom says a bridesmaid should never overshadow the bride. But at the weddings of Kate Middleton, Kate Moss and Kim Kardashian, their bridesmaid younger sisters nearly stole the show.
Since last month, when the world caught sight of Lottie Moss at her older sister Kate Moss' wedding to rocker Jamie Hince, fashion insiders have been buzzing about the 13-year-old.
A year younger than Kate was when she was discovered, Lottie has the same blonde hair, high cheekbones and willowy frame of her older sister.
British fashion correspondent Karen Kay declared Lottie's beauty very "now."
"She's even got a Cindy Crawford-style mole on her chin. She's the full package. If she plays her cards right, she could eclipse Kate," Kay was quoted saying in the U.K. newspaper Daily Mail.
One lucky card she's been dealt is her connection to Kate. The 37-year-old supermodel, who was discovered in 1988 at New York's Kennedy airport while returning from a vacation in the Bahamas with her father, became the face of Calvin Klein at 18, pioneering the"waif" look. After gracing the covers of nearly every fashion magazine, she launched her first collection for trendy store TopShop in 2007. She remains one the world's highest-paid models.
Lottie is the daughter of Kate's father, Peter, and his second wife, Inger. According to the Daily Mail, she already models vintage clothes for the family store in West Sussex, England. Her parents have banned her from modeling full-time until she turns 14, at which time Inger said, "it will be up to Lottie to decide."
Lottie is not the only younger sib hot on the heels of her famous older sister. Kendall Jenner caused a stir at older sister Kim Kardashian's wedding, and Pippa Middleton was a relative nobody until April, when she appeared on the worldwide stage at sister Kate Middleton's royal wedding to Prince William.
Here are the details on these and other up-and-coming sisters.

At Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kris Humphries Saturday, her 15-year-old sister Kendall Jenner looked like she was ready to walk down the aisle in a glamorous floor length, ivory-colored mermaid gown.
Jenner and her sister Kylie, 14, along with Humphries' sister Kaela, served as bridesmaids, while Kardashian's sisters, Kourtney, 32, and Khloe, 27, stood by as the maid and matron of honor, respectively.
All five wore ivory, silk organza mermaid gowns designed by Vera Wang, according to E!.
But it was the 15-year-old Jenner, a taller, thinner, leggier version of her older sister Kim, who nearly stole the show.
Kendall is not completely comfortable with the spotlight, however. In a recent episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," she stormed out of a runway walking lesson after declaring, "You knew from the beginning I've been scared to do runway. I really don't want to be here!"
Later, Jenner, who has appeared in ads for Forever 21 and made headlines last year for modeling a sexy string bikini and thigh-high fishnet stockings, said, "Kim originally wanted to do runway but she was too short for it, so I think she's taking her fantasy out on me."
Perhaps, but Kardashian is certainly rooting for her little sister.
"I am so proud of Kendall," she tweeted after Jenner posed in the bikini. "She's going to take over the modeling world... you just watch!"

The name Pippa Middleton held marginal significance until the 29th of April, when her big sister, Kate, tied the knot with Prince William.
Now the sister-in-law of Britain's apparent future King, Middleton, 27, gained immense popularity virtually overnight. She was even called "Her Royal Hotness."
Within minutes after she appeared at Westminster Abbey wearing that infamous form-fitting cowl-necked dress and holding her sister's train, the twitterverse lit up. Soon after royal watchers worldwide speculated about everything Pippa, from her love life to her career prospects. And recently she was the subject of a one-hour special on TLC titled "Crazy About Pippa."
"She is watched 24/7 now, probably more than her sister," the film's executive producer, David Notman-Watt said. "There's no doubt the Pippa Middleton wave will result in something. What the thing is, I don't know."

While work continues to elude Lindsay Lohan, her younger sister Ali has just signed a multi-year modeling contract with the agency NEXT Model Management.
Aliana "Ali" Lohan, now 17, has never denied her love for the limelight.
"I grew up watching Lindsay, and it made me want to do what she does," she told Teen Vogue in 2008. "Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage, with everybody listening to you ... It's so cool when people look up to you."
She was open about fame: "I want it so bad," she said. "So bad you don't even know. And now, it's actually happening. I've already been asked for my autograph, and it's just a really good feeling to have."
For a while, it seemed Ali was following all the wrong moves of her older sister. At 14, she was baring her cleavage and making scenes at a movie premiere party. On the 2008 season finale of her reality show, "Living Lohan," with mom Dina, she unknowingly auditioned for a horror movie being made by a former porn director.
Now, while her sister's career remains bogged down in her legal troubles, Ali is emerging as the Lohan with her act together.
"In fashion, Ali will set herself apart as a bona fide icon," NEXT director Alexis Borges told E! News. "One that fashion fans will follow not because of her famous last name, but because of the beautiful images and fashion trends she is helping create."
