New Kids on the Block to Appear on 'Fuller House'
"This is just toooo exciting!!!" Jordan Knight wrote.
-- New Kids on the Block will be moving into Tanner territory during the second season of the Netflix series "Fuller House."
On Thursday, the show's official Twitter account posted a photo of Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber sporting NKOTB T-shirts, along with a message declaring they have "The Right Stuff to welcome some special guest stars!" -- a reference to the band's 1988 hit, "You Got It (The Right Stuff)."
The band's official Instagram posted the same pic, along with a caption: "Hanging tough with these ladies!"
NKOTB's Jordan Knight showed his excitement as well, sharing a graphic of the Fuller House logo next to his name with the the message, "This is just toooo exciting!!!"
The appearance by the popular '90s boy band was a long time coming. Back in February, Bure told Rotten Tomatoes that the show never had the guys as guest stars on the original run of Full House, with Barber adding, "We really want New Kids on the Block though [for Fuller House]. We'll put our vote for that."
Bure and her co-stars even gave a shout-out to the band during season one, when they mimicked a piece of the choreography from "You Got It (The Right Stuff)."
"Fuller House" season two is currently in production.
