Kim Kardashian Weds Kris Humphries in Lavish Ceremony
The reality star reportedly wore three different dresses.
Aug. 21, 2011 -- It's official. Kim Kardashian is now Mrs. Kris Humphries.
The 30-year-old reality TV star exchanged vows Saturday with the 26-year-old New Jersey Nets player at an estate in Montecito, Calif. with plenty of celebrities, and cameras, People magazine and E! reported.
Kardashian walked down the aisle wearing an ivory Vera Wang creation, People and E! reported.
Julie Dam, assistant managing editor of People Magazine said on "Good Morning America" this morning that Kardashian wore a classic, full princess-style dress when she walked down the aisle on the arm of her stepfather, Olympic great Bruce Jenner.
But that was only the first of three dresses Kardashian reportedly wore.
"For the reception Kim then changed into sort of a mermaid dress with organza leaves, petals on the skirt," Dam said. "And then later on she changed, yet again, into a v-neck dress with a circle skirt and they were all by Vera Wang."
The wedding guest list included Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, the Williams sisters, Kelly Osbourne, and of course Humphries' New Jersey Nets teammates. But there was some last minute drama with the list.
"Basically she invited too many people and the space couldn't fit it so the fire marshall came in and said you're going to have to narrow your numbers or you can't have your wedding," Juliette Izon of Life & Style Weekly.
Guests were treated to a towering cake by Hansen's, a $15,000 creation with 10 layers and decadent frosting inspired by the real royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Kardashian called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday to talk about the fact that her late father wouldn't be there to give her away.
"You'll feel I think the presence of my dad, you'll feel love in this room and that's what's going to be the best part of this whole night," Kardashian said on the show.
The event was being recorded by E! Network for a prime time special in October, but no other cameras are allowed.
