Kim Kardashian's CFDA Awards Dress Caught Fire
The reality-TV star thanked Pharrell and his wife for extinguishing the flames.
— -- A day after Kim Kardashian revealed that she and Kanye West are expecting their second child, the famous couple walked the red carpet Monday at the CFDA Awards.
So what wasn't pictured? Kardashian's Proenza Schouler dress catching fire later in the night.
"Shout out to Pharrell & Helen who saved my life last night! LOL," the reality-TV star wrote on Instagram. "After the awards at dinner the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle & they jumped on me to get it out!"
Kardashian, 34, revealed in a preview for a future episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that she's pregnant again. Her rep later confirmed the news to ABC News.
"Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are expecting their second child, due at the end of this year,"a statement from her publicist read. "They are overjoyed and looking forward to his-her arrival."
But this pregnancy hasn't been easy so far. Kardashian, whose daughter with West, 37, will turn 2 this month, has been very ill, she told Us Weekly.
"I’ve had really bad morning sickness, day sickness, night sickness; I can barely get out of bed,” she said. “It’s a very different type of pregnancy from my first one, but I'm so grateful to be pregnant when we didn't even think it was going to happen for us [so] I don't care how sick I am.”
