Kim Richards Talks to Dr. Phil About Her Arrest
Reality Star was charged with public intoxication, battery and trespassing.
-- Kim Richards is opening up about her arrest for public intoxication.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star will make an appearance on "Dr. Phil" on April 28.
According to an early transcript obtained by People magazine, Richards told host Phil McGraw: "I was angry and frightened and I was scared. I knew what I had done. The whole night is my fault. None of this would have happened if I didn’t drink."
Richards, 50, was arrested last Thursday and charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer, according to police.
Lt. Lincoln Hoshino, a representative for the Beverly Hills police department, told ABC News that after Richards refused to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel around 2 a.m., police took her into custody.
Hoshino added that after the arrest, the reality star, who appeared to be intoxicated, cursed at officers and allegedly kicked one in the leg.
The Bravo reality TV star has struggled with substance abuse in the past. In 2012, after spending time in rehab, she told Andy Cohen, "I'm an alcoholic."
She is expected to appear in court next month.
