Kim Zolciak-Biermann Receives Well Wishes from 'Dancing With the Stars' Cast After Suffering a Mini Stroke
The reality TV star was discharged from the hospital last week.
-- Kim Zolciak-Biermann is still recovering from a mini stroke she suffered last Thursday, and her "Dancing With the Stars" family is wishing her a speedy recovery.
In a statement, Zolciak-Biermann thanked her fans for their support and well-wishes, and revealed that she hopes to keep dancing after she recovers.
“I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days,” the reality star said. “I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health. I can't express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing."
Zolciak-Biermann was discharged from the hospital last Friday after a final procedure.
Zoliack-Biermann's “Dancing With The Stars” partner Tony Dovolani stood by Zoliack-Biermann's side at the hospital, and the professional dancer called the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star a “fighter” in a statement to People magazine.
“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is," Dovolani said.
"Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it's amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery," he added.
Zolciak-Biermann is one of the 11 remaining couples on "Dancing With The Stars" Season 21.
Fellow competitor Gary Busey tweeted a "sweet" message of support to Zolciak-Biermann, encouraging her to keep her faith strong and saying that he will see her soon.
