How Kris Jenner's First Divorce Prepped Her for Bruce Jenner Split
"It was really ugly and hard," she said of her split from Robert Kardashian.
-- Kris Jenner says her current divorce from Bruce Jenner has been easier to deal with after the reality star learned some important lessons from the end of her first marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian.
Jenner, 59, divorced her first husband in 1991 and told the ladies on "The Talk" yesterday that this first split -- being so difficult -- has helped her now.
"It's not an easy thing. ... I went through a divorce a long time ago with Robert Kardashian, and it was not fun. It was so scary, and I was so young, and I had four kids. And then we ended up being best friends. But there was a period of a couple years in there where it was really ugly and hard and you didn't want the kids to take sides," she said.

Jenner, who filed for divorce from Bruce this past September, added, "It was a really good learning experience for me, because I learned how to deal with something, if it ever came up again and now we are going through it."
Having said that, Jenner believes the divorce process can be done in a real "grown-up" way.
"And make it so everyone around you is comfortable and happy," she continued. "Divorce is a decision. It's not a good decision, but we are happier living apart that we were together," she said of the separation that started in October, 2013.
Jenner in no way isn't grateful for all the good she has -- her children with Kardashian Kim, Kourtney, Rob and Khloe -- along with the two daughters she had with Jenner -- Kendall and Kylie.
"The good so outweighs the bad," she said. "We are all happy and looking forward to all the good stuff in life. I like to look at the glass half full."
