Kristen Bell Donates $91,500 Worth of Baby Supplies to Mothers In Need
The pregnant actress gave back to expectant and new mothers with a baby shower
-- Kristen Bell is on the cusp of delivering her second child, but these days she's focused on giving back to other expectant women.
The actress donated $91,500 worth of Bravado nursing bras and Medela breast pumps to new and expectant mothers.
"I understand the importance of having the essential tools necessary to provide for a newborn. Greater still, I am aware of the immeasurable value of having support systems in place to ensure success on this journey of motherhood," Bell said. "Anything I can offer in support and care to new moms in need remains a huge priority to me."
At a shower thrown in her honor by Baby Buggy on Tuesday in L.A., 40 of the recipients were sized for the products and enjoyed an afternoon of bonding and finger sandwiches.
"It's overwhelming to have such amazing support," guest Alicia Mora said. "For me, it's exciting to see everybody pregnant and all of the mothers sharing in this experience together. It's pretty good! I'm really happy."
The "Frozen" star was unable to attend due to her impending due date.
Bell, 34, is married to actor Dax Shepherd, with whom she has a one-year-old daughter, Lincoln.
