Kristin Cavallari Reveals Husband Jay Cutler's Frantic Parenting Message
The reality star shared texts her husband sent while alone with their two kids.
— -- There comes a point in every parent’s life where you have no option but to phone a friend.
Unfortunately for the Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, his desperate plea for help went viral after his wife, Kristin Cavallari, posted it on Instagram Jan. 24.
Cavallari, a former reality star on MTV’s “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills,” was arriving home from a short trip to the Miss Universe pageant when she received these messages from her helpless hubby.
“Need u home asap," Cutler, 31, texted her. "All hell has broken loose. Jax is in his crib. Cam refuses to eat. I'm about to leave."
“I was dying laughing when I got those text messages,” Cavallari, host of “The Fabulist,” said today on “Good Morning America.” “It’s something that every parent can relate to, and I was just laughing my butt off, and I thought it would hilarious to post it.”
While they may be a high-powered and highly talented couple, the text messages prove they’re just regular parents, sparking a flood of understanding from other parents.
“I love this honestly. Kids are the world’s toughest job,” one parent wrote.
Cavallari seemed to agree, adding that sometimes dads need to be reminded just how tough it can be.
“I think it’s really refreshing for people to see that Jay and I are just like everybody else,” she said. “We go through the same stuff. I said in the post we don’t have 1,000 nannies. I think people just assume that we do. We actually split our time between Chicago and Nashville, and right now in Nashville we don’t have a nanny at all -- so we really are doing everything ourselves. And I love it because now he gets to see what I go through.”
