-- Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd are married!
Last night "Bachelor In Paradise" viewers watched as the couple, who met last year while filming the ABC reality show in Mexico, tied the knot on the first day of taping for season two back in June.
"It was very small, quaint, little wedding. Our closest family members were there to witness it, and all of the new cast members, which was really exciting because it gives them hope that they can find love on the show, too," Faddoul told ABC News. "It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful, and very intimate."
Faddoul, an elderly care facility owner, and Grodd, who's in the Coast Guard, got engaged during the season finale of "Bachelor in Paradise" last season. The one thing they both wanted from the small ceremony, she said, was the presence of their families.
"I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle," she added. "That was the most important thing for me."
However, there were other details to figure out, too. Faddoul worked with Cary Fetman, the stylist for "The Bachelor" franchise, to pick a gown, and wore a bracelet she borrowed from her mother, a blue necklace, and a new necklace -- a gift from the groom -- during the ceremony.
"It was a little knot and he wrote a message, 'You’re the only one I want to tie the knot with,'" she said.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a five-course meal and a small wedding cake. The newlyweds, both 27, who are also planning a California celebration for friends who couldn't make the wedding, then took a honeymoon to Playa Mita, Mexico where they went horseback riding, zip-lining and swimming with dolphins. Also on the agenda? Planning for the future.
"I want to have two or three kids," she said. "Marcus is in boot camp now so when he returns home we'll think about starting that chapter in our lives!"
