Laura Prepon Talks 'Private' Engagement to Ben Foster
The actress chatted with her old friend Ashton Kutcher on "Live."
— -- "Orange in the New Black" star Laura Prepon stopped by "Live with Kelly" today and had some fun with her old "That 70's Show" co-star Ashton Kutcher.
The two joked about recent news of her engagement to Ben Foster, and Kutcher said he wasn't too happy that he learned about it through the media.
"I am so pissed at you," he joked. "This is unacceptable."
Prepon explained why the couple kept their engagement a secret.
“If anyone understands the private lives, you get it.” she said.
Kutcher, who is similarly private about his marriage and life with Mila Kunis, kept on with the joke, saying he should have learned the news about Prepon from her.
He also brought up how long the two have known each other, going back to the 90s when the show started. In the end, the two hugged and Prepon kidded Kutcher about how "giddy" he was for her happiness.
A source confirmed the engagement of Prepon and Foster to ABC News earlier this week after she stepped out wearing a ring on "that" finger at a movie premiere.
This will be the first marriage for both Prepon, 36, and Foster, 35, who had been engaged to actress Robin Wright Penn before they split last year.
