The show's star Lauren Graham revealed the title on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
-- More details are trickling out about Netflix's highly-anticipated "Gilmore Girls" reboot.
Lauren Graham revealed the name of the series on Thursday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"I can tell you the title for the first time," she teased. "It's four, 90-minute episodes, and they're winter, spring, summer and fall, so the show is called 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.'"
Graham, 49, who portrays Lorelai Gilmore, a character she played on the original series, which ran for seven seasons until May 2007, said she's had an "incredible experience" filming the reboot.
"I cry trying to talk about it," Graham said. "To get to do it again, who would have imagined? Netflix had to be invented, you guys had to want it back."
Along with Graham, Melissa McCarthy, who played her onscreen best friend Sookie St. James, Alexis Bledel, who portrayed Graham's onscreen daughter Rory Gilmore, Scott Patterson, who played diner owner Luke Danes, and Kelly Bishop, who portrayed Lorelai's mother, Emily, are set to return. Original stars Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena will reprise their roles as well.
There's still no word on a premiere date.
