Mark Ruffalo Loses Cell Phone and Wallet During Blizzard, Finds It Thanks to Twitter
The "Spotlight" actor found his belongings after tweeting Saturday.
-- When Mark Ruffalo lost his cell phone, which sports a wallet case, Saturday in New York City, he turned to Twitter to recover it. And thankfully for the actor, it worked.
"APB out for a cell phone in a wallet case out on the streets of NYC in a blizzard. My drivers license is in there. Reward and signed pic," he wrote to his more than 2 million Twitter followers.
It took less than 20 minutes for his phone and wallet to be found.
"OMG It was just found! That was freaking fast. Thanks for helping me find it!!" he wrote.
In a later post, Ruffalo, 48, thanked the people responsible for finding his lost goods.
"Thank Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding my Phone and wallet!" he said hours later. "Thanks Brown family for your decency."
This isn't the first time Twitter helped Ruffalo recover his wallet. Good Samaritan Ross McHale tweeted the actor last year, saying she found his wallet in Chicago.
The "Spolight" actor responded, "@Trezeduet thank you! Wow! Another point for the decency in people."
