Mark Salling Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography
The actor's bail was set at $20,000.
-- Mark Salling has been arrested for possession of child pornography, Los Angeles Police Department officer Ricardo Hernandez confirmed to ABC News.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's website, the actor was jailed for several hours on Tuesday and then released.
His bail had been set at $20,000.
Salling, 33, who starred as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on "Glee" for six seasons, was served with a search warrant by the LAPD Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force early Tuesday morning. He was at his home in California at the time.
A rep for the actor has not yet responded to requests for comment.
A court date has been set for Jan. 22.
