Matthew Morrison Admits He Doesn't Miss 'Glee'
The actor said his playing the same part for so long got "kind of tedious."
— -- We fell in love with Matthew Morrison as the beloved teacher Will Schuester on "Glee."
And although the Fox musical comedy ended last month, Morrison said he doesn't miss it at all.
"I miss the people and everything, but being from the Broadway world and stuff before that, I love playing a character for like a short amount of time and then jumping into something else," he explained on Tuesday's "Live with Kelly and Michael."
"Playing the same part for seven years it's like what else can I bring to this, you know? It gets kind of tedious a little bit."
Still, he doesn't regret portraying the lovable glee club director and Spanish teacher.
"I learned so much in my time there like how to act in front of the camera. It was such a learning experience for me," Morrison added.
Morrison is set to return to Broadway as Peter Pan author J. M. Barrie in "Finding Neverland," opening Wednesday. The musical also stars Kelsey Grammar as Captain Hook.
