Mel B. Addresses Rumors: 'My Hubby Would Never Lay a Hand on Me'

Former Spice Girl addresses rumors about her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Dec. 29, 2014— -- Melanie Brown, otherwise known as Mel B., wants her fans to know that all is well between her and her husband Stephen Belafonte.

The former Spice Girl posted a message to her fans and addressed some of those pesky rumors while she was at it.

"I'm very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans," Mel B. wrote Sunday, alongside a photo of her posing with Belafonte.

The rumor mill went into overdrive earlier this month after Mel B. appeared on the finale of the U.K. version of "The X Factor" with what appeared to be bruises. Reports later surfaced that the couple, who have been married since 2007, were on the rocks.
