Mia Farrow Responds to Support After Son Thaddeus' Sudden Death

"We're devastated by the loss," she wrote of her adopted son, who was 27.

The 27-year-old was found in his car Wednesday in Roxbury, Connecticut and today his death was ruled a suicide by the local medical examiner, the Associated Press reported.

Farrow took to social media this afternoon expressing shock over her son's death.

"We're devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother," Farrow wrote. "He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life."

"We miss him," she added on Twitter. "Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and words of kindness."
