Michael Douglas 'Still Digesting' Mother Diana Douglas Webster's Death

Actor reflects on what lessons Diana Douglas Webster passed on to him.

"I'm still digesting it. It just sort of happened," the actor, 70, told People at his film’s New York premiere Monday night.

“[She had a] wicked sense of humor, very bright," he added.

"I don't know how much she taught about acting,” Douglas said. “She just taught me more about giving it your best shot. She's English and Bermudian, so they have kind of this stiff upper lip and can carry on.”

"I was raised there with my mother ... and I'll be taking her ashes back to Bermuda soon," he said in the interview.
