New Movies Disappoint at Weekend Box Office

The horror film "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" opened in sixth place, collecting $8.2 million.

"The Martian" was the number-one movie, with $15.9 million, displacing the previous box office champ, "Goosebumps," which made $15.5 million.
