Naya Rivera Talks About Anorexia and Abortion Before Marrying Ryan Dorsey

"Glee" actress revealed personal struggles in her new memoir.

— -- When she announced her memoir last year, Rivera promised on Twitter, "So many juicy stories about my life. Glee, guys, growing up & much more."

Now, with her book due out soon, the "Glee" actress is making good on that promise.

"I've done a lot of living," she told People ahead of the book's release. "I'm a 79-year-old trapped in a 29-year-old's body."

The 29-year-old star said she discovered that she was pregnant in late 2010, weeks after breaking up with Dorsey to focus on her career.

The actress says she terminated the pregnancy on one of her days off from filming "Glee."

"It was very scary to open up about everything," Rivera told the magazine about sharing her abortion in her upcoming memoir "Sorry Not Sorry."

"It's not something a lot of people talk about, but I think they should. I know some people might read it and say, 'What the Hell?' But I hope someone out there gets something out of it," she said.

After the news about her abortion went public, Rivera defended her actions on Twitter.

"I was so young and it just seemed to be the norm. Everyone was going through similar stuff," she told People. "I had no way of knowing if I was going through it worse. I was juggling my feelings and it makes me sad that there are girls still going through that 15 years after I went through it."
