Netflix Releases 'Fuller House' Teaser Trailer and Premiere Date
The trailer states that "On February 26, life is full again."
-- Mark your calendars, because Netflix's "Fuller House" finally has a release date.
Netflix released the first teaser trailer for the "Full House" reboot as well as details about the show's storyline.
According to a Netflix press release out today, "Fuller House" will star Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber, who are all reviving their roles from the original "Full House" series as D.J. Tanner (now D.J. Tanner-Fuller), Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibler respectively.
"Fuller House" will center around an all-grown-up D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian who is recently widowed and living in San Francisco. D.J.'s younger sister and aspiring musician, Stephanie Tanner, and her lifelong best friend, Kimmy Gibler, move in with D.J. to help the mother raise her three sons, 12-year-old Jackson (played by Michael Champion), 7-year-old Max (played by Elias Harger) and newborn Tommy Jr. (played by Messitt Twins).
Other cast members from the 1987 "Full House" series will be making guest appearances throughout the "Fuller House" episodes, including John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis, Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone, Lori Loughlin as Becky Katsopolis and Scott Weinger as Steve Hale.
In the teaser trailer, we see multiple shots of San Francisco, including the iconic Painted Ladies houses, as well as set images from inside the Tanner house. The visuals are sure to bring back memories of the 1990s hit series.
As a dog runs down the stairs to greet its owner, we hear familiar voices on the other side of the door, including D.J. Tanner saying, "Gosh, it feels good to be back."
