— -- Corn mazes are going “nuts” in celebration of the classic “Peanuts” Halloween television special, “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”

More than 90 farms nationwide are honoring the 50th anniversary of the special by collaborating with The MAiZE, Inc. to create unique mazes in tribute of the iconic "Peanuts" characters.

“'The Great Pumpkin' and cornfield mazes are two of the world’s greatest fall traditions, eagerly anticipated by fans every single year, and we’re so excited to bring them together for this landmark anniversary,” Jill Schulz, daughter of "Peanuts" creator Charles M. Schulz, said in a press release about the event. “As we prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,’ it’s only fitting that we should find a tribute that’s both joyful and visually compelling, just as my father’s characters have been for more than 65 years.”

Frosty’s Forest in Chino, California, is one of the many farms taking part in the festive fun. But if the West Coast isn’t a convenient location to visit, there are 39 states participating, from Alabama all the way to Wyoming. Click here to find a farm in your state.

The timeless animated tale first aired on Oct. 27, 1966, and can be enjoyed this season, 50 years later, on Oct. 19 and Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
