'Little People, Big World's' Amy Roloff on Her Separation: 'It's Like a Death'
Star of "Little People, Big World" speaks of her separation from husband Matt.
March 26, 2014 -- After 26 years together, Matt and Amy Roloff are struggling through a trial separation that is playing out on TV.
The stars of "Little People, Big World" announced their separation last month and showed the world how the couple is dealing last night on a TLC special, People magazine reports.
During the special, Amy Roloff meets with friends for dinner to discuss how she's doing. The clip was filmed late last year.
"2013 isn't exactly ending how I would want," she reveals while drinking wine with friends. "We're separated. ... Matt chose to move out."

Amy is referring to Matt's choice to live in the guest house since November.
"We definitely were having issues and problems and stuff, but it's sad," she said. "We don't really have a plan. ... To tell you the truth, it's like a death, you know? You get numb, you don't know what to do."
Then she tells the camera, "Going through all of this, it is like a grieving process because you have to slowly begin to let go."
The Roloffs have four children –- twins Jeremy and Zack, 23, Molly, 20, and Jacob, 17.
In a separate clip released earlier in the month, Matt said, "You can call it a separation, if you want, a trial separation, but it's more of just giving each other some space. Last year it was long. Long and tough."
