Check out the new clip!
-- Fans watching the Olympics last night were delighted when they got a little "Star Wars" treat during a break in the action.
A second trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" dropped, and it's action-packed to say the least.
The official "Star Wars" social media accounts had been teasing fans about the trailer with a couple short clips.
This clip is the second official teaser trailer, which follows the first that aired on "Good Morning America" back in April. Since then, we've learned a lot about the standalone film, including the fact that Darth Vader is back.
Lucusfilm’s "Rogue One" is a new "Star Wars" film set just before 1977’s iconic "A New Hope" and focuses on a group of rebels on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. It hits theaters Dec. 16.
Here's the first clip.
A special reel of footage was also shown during "Star Wars Celebration" last month.
ABC News and Lucasfilm are both part of the Disney Co.
