The happy arrival comes just two days before the famed rocker's 69th birthday.
-- Congratulations to Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, whose wife, Sally, gave birth to twin girls Monday.
"Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6lb) & Alice Rose (5.7lb),” according to a statement issued by Wood's publicist. “The girls arrived on 30 May at 22:30 and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect."
The happy arrival comes just two days before the famed rocker's 69th birthday.
Wood and his wife, who's 38, married in December 2012, with Wood's Faces bandmate Rod Stewart serving as his best man.
The twins are the couple's first children together, although Ronnie has four adult kids from his previous two marriages.
One day before the twins were born, Wood posted a Twitter message featuring a photo of him and his dog with the caption "Waiting," along with a series of baby-related emojis and the hashtag "#38weeks+."
