Former Royal Chef Shares Memories of Princes William, Harry

Carolyn Robb was the personal chef to Prince Charles and his family

— -- Carolyn Robb is a chef who has literally made meals fit for a king.

Robb is the former personal chef for Britain’s Prince Charles, the first-in-line to the British throne, and his sons, Princes William and Harry.

Robb began to cook for the royal family when William, now 32, was just 7 and Harry, now 30, was age 4.

“It was the most fantastic job,” Robb said on “Good Morning America.” “It was like a dream come true for me.”

Robb was there to watch as William and Harry’s mother, the late Princess of Wales, Diana, raised her two sons under the limelight of the royal family.

“Just wonderful…just really the perfect mother,” Robb said of Diana, who passed away in 1997 in a Paris car crash. “Really, within the home it was like being with any family, obviously a very special family.”

Robb said that the family, Prince Charles included, enjoyed “simple food” that sometimes included a treat too.

“I had a lot of fun in the kitchen with the boys,” she said.
