Snooki Slams Pregnancy Rumors She Wanted to Outshine JWoww

April 4, 2014 — -- Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi announced this morning that she is expecting her second baby with fiance Jionni LaValle -- and she didn't do it in an attempt to outshine JWow.
"Jionni and I are so excited to confirm that we are expecting our second child! Now knowing that our test results are good and our baby is healthy, we can finally talk about it!" she posted on her website.
Snooki, 26, further addressed certain rumors that had been floating around before she was able to announce the good news. One was that she was trying to take away from her best friend Jennifer "JWoww" Farley, who announced her own pregnancy in December.

"Are you out of your minds?" Snooki wrote of the ridiculous rumors. "If you knew Jenni & I personally, you would know we always wanted to be pregnant together. I love Jenni like my big sister, she is everything to me, not fame."
She continued, "I would never try to "outshine" her and like real women, we support each other and always want the best for each other, not beat each other down to see who can be more "famous". We have a true friendship that I will cherish forever, and getting pregnant just to outshine my best friend is absolutely absurd and disgusting."

She also touched on the fact that even though this is the second child for her and LaValle before they have tied the knot, she said, "we are doing fine I assure you."
"We planned to have a second child before our wedding, and will indeed still be getting married in the fall of 2014," she added. "Maybe I'm pregnancy venting, but the world is really still so misunderstood about me, my family, and our life."
