The Stars of 'Barbershop: The Next Cut': The Cast Talks New Film on 'GMA'

The film hits theaters April 15.

— -- The cast of "Barbershop: The Next Cut" are gearing up for the movie's big release today.

"It was nice, honestly, having some female energy come into the shop," Eve said. "The dynamic was really good."

"We added money...Calvin was suffering over there," Regina Hall joked of Ice Cube's on-screen character.

To get the cast up to speed on their grooming skills, there was even a barbershop boot camp.

"I take pride in my little beard," Common said. "You know, when you ain't got no hair, you got to rock that beard.

At the close of their interview, the cast described the film in one word.

"Heart," Common said.

"Funny," Cedric the Entertainer said, laughing.

"Barbershop: The Next Cut" is in theaters today.
