Survivor Dish: Colby Gets Wheels, Amber Shows Her Stuff

May 8, 2001 -- Survivor: The Australian Outback's Colby Donaldson didn't win the million-dollar prize — the Texas ladies' man foolishly paved the way for tribemate Tina Wesson to beat him — but he did get the motorcycle he said he'd buy if he won. It wasn't new millionaire Tina that bought him the bike though, but TV host Rosie O'Donnell.

The talk show host sprung the brand-new Harley Davidson on Colby when he appeared on her show today, TV Guide reports.

O'Donnell joked to the Outback stud, "I want you to think of me every time you ride it." Donaldson won $100,000 and a Pontiac Aztek for his manly efforts during his tenure on the reality show.

Amber Has the Right StuffIn other post-Survivor news, Amber Brkich is posing for a men's magazine as promised, but it's not Playboy — at least not yet. The 22-year-old will pose for the July issue of Stuff magazine, which, like its sister publication, Maxim, features scantily clad but not nude ladies. Brkich is not getting any money for the photo shoot, Stuff's editor tells USA Today.

Survivor Lawsuit May Help Set Legal PrecedentAnd there's more news on the lawsuit filed by Stacey Stillman, which accuses Survivor producer Mark Burnett of rigging the first reality-show installment. A First Amendment rights group is trying to set a legal precedent by petitioning to unseal contestant Dirk Been's confidential deposition testimony about the case, Inside.com reports.

The group isn't particularly interested in Survivor, apparently, but is using the lawsuit as a test case to a new California statute, according to USA Today. "It just happens that the first case to test this issue happens to be about a silly little game show," says Lucy Dalgish, executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.

Stillman alleges that Been and others were coerced into voting her off the island prematurely. Several other contestants testified last week that they voted against Stillman because they didn't like her, not because they were coerced to do so, Inside.com reports. Been's testimony, unlike that of the other contestants, has been sealed.
