Nicholson and Brando Play House
Feb. 26, 2001 -- Two of Hollywood's resident bad boys, Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson, aren't just neighbors — they're roommates.
The Wild One has apparently offered a safe haven to Nicholson after his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Broussard moved the couple's two children into Jack's Mulholland Drive mansion.
Brando and Nicholson, who've been neighbors for 25 years, are reportedly living like bachelors in order to give Nicholson space, the New York Daily News reports. Sources tell the paper that Broussard, who was with the actor for nearly a decade, has hired a lawyer and may file a palimony suit.
Nicholson and Broussard have two children, Lorraine, 10, and Raymond, 8. The actor's current girlfriend is The Practice's Lara Flynn Boyle, though their relationship has also had its ebbs and flows.
When Nicholson attended the American Film Institute's tribute to Barbra Streisand Thursday, a reporter asked him about shacking up with Brando. Nicholson told Foxnews.com's Roger Friedman, "I guess that tells you something about living in public life," but he didn't deny the move.
Broussard denied charges that she'd hired an attorney, and she told the Daily News that she owns another home in Los Angeles. When asked where Nicholson is living, she vaguely replied, "He's been living next door to Brando for 25 years."
