Bacon, Stallone Hop Into Cadillac
February 6, 2001 -- Kevin Bacon's been slow to line up a film after the arduous special-effects extravaganza Hollow Man, but the "six degrees" guy now has two films in the pipeline.
Bacon is in negotiations to join Sylvester Stallone in the thriller Dolan's Cadillac and Charlize Theron and Courtney Love in 24 Hours.
Cadillac is based on a Stephen King novelette about a man who seeks revenge on the mobster (Stallone) who killed his wife. Stacy Title, who directed the indie The Last Supper, will direct from her own adaptation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production is set to start in May, which flies in the face of every other strike-fearing production in town, all of which are reportedly hoping to be wrapped by then.
Before Cadillac, Stallone plans to film the black comedy Avenging Angelo with Madeleine Stone, while Bacon would report for 24 Hours in mid-March. In Hours, Bacon and Love will play a pair of kidnappers who nab Theron's daughter.
