Edward Norton is not only starring in his first summer blockbuster, he co-wrote the script. Norton is bringing back "The Incredible Hulk." Bruce Banner is still trying to cure himself of turning into a green giant. But first he has to face up to a monster known as the Abomination. For Norton, the monster he faces is the prying tabloid media. The respected actor tries to protect his privacy. But he knows that gossip and hype have always been a price of Hollywood stardom.Norton told Parade:

"I think it's pretty toxic. I can't say at the end of the day that I think it's probably that much different – you know, Burton and Taylor didn't get any less that Brad and Angie. Even the tabloids in the 20's were as intense as anything we've got going on now and I just think that's a function of our romance with the movies. I'm not rationalizing it. I don't personally get off on it."

Norton better get used to fame. If "The Incredible Hulk" is a hit at the box office, it will just make him an incredibly bigger star.

MARK WAHLBERG

Mark Wahlberg is terrorized by something strange and horrible in "The Happening." That's just what you'd expect from director M. Night Shyamalan who first got famous scaring us to death with "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs." Wahlberg was up to faking terror, but getting in touch with his character was a challenge. Mark told Parade:

"It's a complete departure for me to play a science teacher. My wife, played by Zooey Deschanel is a therapist and the movie is really about our relationship and the conflicts that we're having, set in this kind of horrific disaster that is happening. But working with Night is awesome. The first scene we shot was a five page scene in a classroom. Any other director I've worked with would have taken three days to shoot it, but we shot it by lunch and it's beautiful. He just knows what he wants. It's all thought out."

Now after seeing the finished movie, Mark admits, "I'm still shaking."

LIV TYLER

Last week Liv Tyler was in theaters screaming her heart out in the small-budget thriller "Strangers." Now, Liv is screaming again in a much bigger movie as she co-stars with Edward Norton in "The Incredible Hulk." Liv is Betsy Ross the long-suffering woman in Bruce Banner's life who's trying to get used to him as a green giant with a really bad temper. Liv loved being in a movie with the gigantic hulk. Tyler told Parade:why she just loves big and tall actors:

"It was hard for me when I was a kid, because everybody came up to like my shoulder area. And it was impossible for me to have any boyfriends, because nobody would go out with me, because I was the big oaf in the class. But now, I mean, I love being tall. It feels nice, but sometimes I wish I was cute and little too, so somebody could just scoop me up in their arms, carry me away. I mean, it's hard, because I'm a big girl"

Liv was up to the grueling stunts. She says, "After giving birth I knew I could handle anything. But I can't say I had fun flying out of a helicopter on a harness."
