Supreme Court Ends Gay Marriage Ban, Celebs React

-- Celebrities spoke out about the U.S. Supreme Court ruling today that gay couples have the constitutional right to marry almost immediately.
Liza Minnelli, in a statement sent via her publicist, was one of the first celebrities to share an opinion on the historic ruling.
"I have always said that everyone has the right to love who they love and today, with the historic decision from the Supreme Court, I am so happy it is now the law of the land," she said.
Others reacted via social media.
"#MarriageEquaility!!!! A giant step towards our country being a better place to be!" Shonda Rimes wrote on Twitter.
Added "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling, "Wow. Another historic day for #MarriageEquality!"
