What Surprising Freebies Are Inside the 2014 Oscar Nominees' Gift Bags

Feb. 14, 2014 — -- intro: Not everyone will walk away with an Oscar at the Academy Awards. But even nominees who don’t score a little gold statue will get something the next morning to help ease the pain.
Win or lose, every Oscar nominee from Leonardo DiCaprio to Jennifer Lawrence will receive a goody bag valued at over $55,000, thanks to an “Everyone Wins at the Oscars Nominee Gift Bag” from marketing firm, Distinctive Assets.
With freebies like a $9,000 trip to Las Vegas, or a personalized tour through Japan, worth $15,000, this year’s Oscar losers will have plenty to console themselves with.
“Even Hollywood’s most acclaimed stars are disappointed over this particular loss, and when our consolation gift shows up the next day we like to think it is a welcome distraction,” Distinctive Assets’ founder Lash Fary said in a press release.
“We always look forward to introducing celebrities to an array of companies with fabulous gifts to share,” Fary said. “It’s particularly fun to be able to do so when you know it will truly brighten someone’s day.”
