Survivor Not Happy With 'Eye of the Tiger' Used in Kim Davis Rally

"NO! We did not grant Kim Davis any rights," they wrote.

"NO! We did not grant Kim Davis any rights to use 'My Tune -- The Eye Of The Tiger,'" the band wrote on its official Facebook page. "I would not grant her the rights to use Charmin! C'mom Mike, you are not The Donald but you can do better than that - See Ya really SoooooooonnnnnnN!!!!!!" The post was signed "FS," for the band's frontman Frankie Sullivan, who shared the same message on his Facebook page.

The band then shared a TMZ story that reported how outraged the members were that their song was used in this situation.

Jim Peterik, the band's co-founder, also tweeted his disgust, writing, "I have not authorized the use of Eye of the Tiger for use by Kim Davis and my publisher will issue a C&D. This does not reflect my views."

Davis was jailed last week after she refused to comply with an order for her to issue marriage licenses in Rowan County to same-sex couples.

Davis, an Apostolic Christian, has refused to resign from her post. Her actions and comments at the rally showed that she believed going to jail for her faith the right decision.

"God's moral law conflicts with my job duties," Davis said in court last week on why she wouldn't issue the licenses to same-sex couples.
